The Cold Spring Depot is a short walk from the Cold Spring Metro North Train stop. In fact, the Hudson River line added the Cold Spring depot in 1893, serving both passengers and freight companies, and remained a train depot until 1954.
After spending years as a car dealership, the building became a restaurant in 1972. Cold Spring Depot as it exists today opened in 1985 and has been a beloved Hudson Valley destination ever since. The interior features a cozy setting with a roaring fireplace and bookshelves lining the walls.
The Depot's charm, history, and delicious food makes it one of the best places for a family dinner or romantic night out in the Hudson Valley. A hangout for hikers, bikers, and New Yorkers — right on Metro-North, one minute from Cold Spring Station.
